Artist's Description
Okavango Delta – one of the last pristine ecosystems of Africa, a vast wetland of legendary beauty, incredible wilderness, home to many African species of wildlife, especially great African mammals; a place where several rare and endangered animals still live. Hundreds of kilometres of swamps, island, channels, grasslands - in the middle of the Kalahari Desert – indeed a jewel of the Kalahari. Without it the desert would be much larger and completely dry. On this image you can see the tracks of the animals crossing the channels and flooded grasslands.
